Under Your Breath is a long term open project by Kristina Babusci focusing on the creatures of the night and their secrets. The car becomes a photo portrait studio of sorts, punctuating nighttime rides that the author takes with friends, acquaintances, passers by, complete strangers during which confessions are made and recorded, and sometimes with the subject’s placet, they are stapled to the back of the photograph, enclosed in the frame. Buying one, you become the custodian of that secret, and of that specific moment in the author’s and subject’s life. Archival inkjet prints, on baryta paper, edition of 5, signed by the author.
